How to Upload a Powerpoint to a D2l Discussion

1. Add: A File

While creating a thread or responding to somebody else's thread adhere a file to your post.

Files can be most file types, documents, images etc.

1. Start a thread or reply to a thread.
2. After entering the field of study and the text of the answer, click on the Add Attachments link.
3. Click on the Upload and locate the file on your computer.
4. Click on the file and so click Open.

6. Click the Mail button.

4. Record: Sound

Include audio in your post.

1. First a thread or reply to a thread.
2. After entering the subject and the text of the reply, click the Insert Stuff icon.
3. Click Add together Video Note.
4. Let your browser to access your microphone.
5. Click on the New Recording push button to start recording.  If you don't see the New Recording push button, it is because the window is also small.  Enlarge the window by dragging the lower correct corner downwards and to the right.

   Note: On a mobile device, click on the Choose File option and and so select take Take Video.

   
6. Tape your Video Note (maximum 30 minutes).  Click Finish Recording when you are finished.
   • You can preview the audio by clickingPlay. Re-record by clicking the New Recording button again.

7. When you are satisfied with the audio, click Next.

   
8. Enter a title and clarification of your video.

   Annotation: A screen reader will read the title and clarification of the video note.

9. Change the Audio Language to the language you spoke when you recorded your Video Note.
10. Select Automatically generate captions from audio.
11. ClickNext.
12. You may see a bulletin that the file is processing; it is not necessary to wait for the audio to render. Y'all tin finish by clicking Insert.
13. Click Post.

v. Tape: Video Annotation

Include a Video Annotation in your post.

1. Get-go a thread or reply to a thread.
2. Later on inbound the subject and the text of the reply, click the Insert Stuff icon.
3. Click Video Note.
4. Allow your browser to access your microphone and webcam.
